The pie chart below shows the main reasons why agricultural land becomes less productive. The table shows how these causes affected three regions of the world during the 1990s.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

While the given pie chart provides the data of three major factors which are ascribed to be the causes of decreasing fertility of global agriculture terrain, the grid clarifies how they impacted on different continents in the 1990s interval. In general, it is conspicuous that a huge proportion of farmland was degraded due to over-grazing and Europe led the statistics of total affected land amount.

According to the pie chart, the depleted agricultural land by the livestock activities occupied a large portion of 35 per cent. Whereas the deforestation and the excessive plantation accounted for 28% and 30% respectively, some other reasons made up a nominal part.

Turning to the supplied table, although the over-grazing was considered to be the most influencing element, a massive number of land in the region of Europe was less productive because of deforestation and over-cultivation (9.8% and 7.7% out of 23% correspondingly). The following Oceania showed the contrary with the dramatic effect of livestock activities on the agricultural farm of which 13% was depleted. Finally, for the last place, only 5 per cent of farming terrain, in North America was affected and the over-plantation was the reason for about 3,3 percent of the aforementioned amount.

In conclusion, the whole visual illustrates how the agricultural land in three provided areas was less fertilized by the excess of grazing, cultivation or deforestation and indicates the rate of global land degraded by three of them.
