The combination of four pie charts clarifies how the amounts of manufactured electricity categorized in different sources of fuel in Australia and France in 1980 and 2000. In brief, both countries underwent the upward trend in the total production whereas the Australian generated more units from coal and France showed their preference of using nuclear power.

Regarding to Australia, there was a rapid increase from 100 units to 170 units in 2000 after 20 years. It is apparent that the coal electricity area expanded to nearly three fourth of the total with the beginning of a half. While the hydro power accounted for a major proportion by rising to 36 units per 170, the rest of oil and natural gas significantly reduced their segment to a mere 2 units.

Turning to the visual part of France, its distribution illustrated some similar features as those of Australia. The sum of electricity production augmented twice times to reach 180 units in 2000. In the onset of the 21st century, nuclear power exceeded other types of fuel to occupied about a half and a quarter.
