Dear Sir,

I am pursuing Ph.D in History and currently residing in a double occupancy room in college hostel with a partner from a musical studies. We both share different interests and our studies requires different way of approach.

I am writing to inform you about the issues that I am facing with this arrangement those are directly impacting my studies in a big way. I am in the final phase of writing my thesis and it requires a lot of focus and research that I prefer doing in quiet environment, whereas my roommate curates his musical notes in the same room when I am studying. I have tried discussing the same with him but he is ready to listen. Because of the noise around, I am not at all able to concentrate on my studies and this is bothering me a lot.

I request you to please accomodate me with a student from my course or preferably give me a single occupancy room. This support of yours will be a great help for me. Looking forward to hear from you.

Yours faithfully,
Mandeep Kaur
