You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work.

Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,

• describe the situation

• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work

• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this to express my concern with the room number 105 in the hostel allotted to me. Although the facilities are satisfactory, I am starting to face some difficulties in getting along with the roommate.

The course of Medicine that I have taken here requires me to study extremely hard, in fact, on several days I had to even spend nights to finish the assignments. All I need is the suitable environment for a medical student, however, the problem lies with the loud music played continually by my partner.

Despite of frequent requests I made to him for using the headphones instead of the woofer, the situation did not change much. I appears that either he does not care about the issue or it's being done intentionally for an unknown reason to me.

Therefore, I am in dire need of your help on the matter. Could you please shift me with someone else, preferably the one pursuing the same stream as mine; it would further better to have a senior, not the priority though.

Hope to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Dheeraj
