Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with my current accommodation.
I am a freshman living in a room in the college which I share with a sophomore. Although the intention of assigning a room to me and a sophomore is probably that I can perform better at the college by his help, the opposite is actually happening.
Firstly, not only does he stay up till late at night, but he makes a lot of noise, making it impossible to get a good sleep at the room. The teachers have already complained for several times why I look so sleepy and distracted in the class. Secondly, he smokes every now and then in the room, being the worst thing for me because of my asthma.
I would be happy if you could arrange for me to live in a room alone, or even assign me with a roommate who at least tries to understand that there is another human being who lives in the same room.
