Educating children is a more difficult task today than it was in the past because they spend so much time on cell phone, online games, and social networking Web site.
The rapid development of modern technology gives a wonderful opportunity to school teachers and parents to improve a way of formal education for children. In the past, it is hard to teach children due to the lack of modern infrastructures like the Internet and mobile phones. However, as far as I'm concerned, it is much easy to educate children now than in the past because of three rationales which I can elaborate on hereunder.
To begin with, what kids are studying through textbooks are very limited and outdated. In contrast, online surfing provides up to date and more information with detailed diagrams and videos which provides a deeper understanding of the subject. The tremendous opportunity of the internet boom is highly efficacious for children. Hence, educating children is much easier nowadays than before. My college life is a compelling example of this. Our professors always insist us to refer online journals and videos for the better understanding of topics as our textbook had minimal and limited data. As a result, our college had 100 percent pass in the year that I finished my college. This specific example shows how easy to get information to boost our knowledge than in earlier times.
Next, due to the lack of attention by parents as they need to focus more on their employments, lot of parents are now encouraging children to use cellphones to ameliorate knowledge of children. Social media like youtube and Facebook not only provides the opportunity for them to study but also to engage in arts and culinary works. Moreover, games can improve children's team player quality and concentration.
Last, in conditions like a global pandemic, COVID-19, teachers are providing online classes that students can attend through television or their phones. Nevertheless, If there is no internet now, this idea will be a dream that can indelibly affect a student's education.
All in all, by taking all the points into account, I vehemently assure that educating children is a much easier task due to the advent of modern technology than the past. It not only gives additional knowledge but also inculcates other qualities despite the absence of parents.
