Being in a classroom is a very important part of our lives. It is where we the professor could pass his knowledge to students, creating the base of the educational system. Some people would prefer classes with lectures and almost no discussions; others would not. In my view, open discussions between the professor and students with almost no discussion is better for two important reasons.
The main reason is that with discussion we can develop further ideas from a subject. A famous cliché claims that inside a school, professors teach students and students teach professor; and it is true. Creating a discussion with students, the professor could enter in deeper subjects brought by his pupils. In that way, the class will become more complete and interesting. For example, when I was in college, I had a professor called Tomas with administered aerodynamics courses. I remember that he never used any type of presentation and barely touched the blackboard. The only thing that Tomas did was telling us the theme and them we started a discussion about the subject. Almost every time someone had an experience or a new information to add and everybody could learn from that. Also, sometimes an entire course was created by the students and the professor just added small correction. As you can see, with the help of a professor, classes with a lot of discussion could be very powerful.
Another reason is that type of learning helps to increase student’s focus and avoid boring lessons. I know many students which complain about monotonous presentations. A lot of times teachers just read the content written in that presentations and I believe that even themselves are not paying attention in what they are reading. For instance, I also remember the course of material’s structures that started after Tomas’ classes. That classes was a three hour course on the last time slot available, from 4 pm to 7 pm. The professor always used a very boring presentation with a lot of information and almost no image or scheme. Also, no one could focus on what he was saying because he spoke in a very low volume. When someone tried to ask a question, he was very rude because he did not like to be interrupted. This created a very awful mood during the course and discussions about the subject were becoming less and less frequent. For the final exam, everybody just memorized the content of the presentations and after one day, no one remember anything about the course. This experience taught me that discussion between the students and the professor is very important for the learning process.
In sum, though some may prefers classes without discussion, less lectures and more conversation are great for students and professors. Not only we will be able to discuss deeper ideas but also is less boring and more interesting. Everyone should try, at least one time, to take a class with a lot of discussion and see its benefits.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
