The passage and lecture represent the opposite side of the topic; turning from traditional way of medical data storage and a modern one by digital intruments.
First, while the text believe that electronic records could help to reduce total cost, the professor reflect an disagreement. She states that such information eventually demands an extra store pay cost since sometimes these datas treated as emergency backups.
Second, it is possible to prevent human errors by computers based on text.Yet, the lecture have been claimed that digital tools could not compensate for poor hand writings or mistakes of doctors. Because these illigabe writings could transfered correctly to computers by staff.
Finally, despite the passage try to show the significant role of data digitalization in research, professor illuminate this idea by the matter of privacy. She meant that it is not applicable to access patients information without getting permission based on restict US regulations.
