Students are affected by many people throughout the entire school life. Teachers and friends are great influencers for most students.I strongly believe that teachers have greater influence on students than their friends .I feel this way for three main reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
First of all, teachers influence their students with their high knowledge so students respect them.In addition to this they have tremendous amount of information that students can not get from the books.For example, when i was at university Economics class was always fun because the Professor gived the lecture with daily events that was out of textbooks.Thus, I was very impressed by his knowledge.
Second point is that teachers contribute a lot to the success of their students by always showing them the right way not only in school but also in their lives.Teachers help their students setting career goals and lead themabout choosing a good one.In addition, they also help students making decisions about educational activities.For instance,when i was in last year of high school, one of my teachers encouraged me about studying Business Administration because of my good grades on Mathematics.Finally, I chose that department and became a bank worker.
The last but not least, teacher are childhood role model during the personality development continues.Children learn the firs most significant informations from their teachers and they probably keep in mind for a long time.Also,they may have great impact on making children love books, encouraging for sporting activities, good communication,developing hobbies, rules about daily activities etc. For example,when i was at primary school,i first learned tennis in the sport lecture and then this sport became my favoruite gamein my future life.
In a nutshell,although students are under the influence by many people especially their friends in life, the teachers have an enormous impact on them in order to change their life in many ways.
